How long does setup actually take?+
3-5 business days from signed contract to live storefront, assuming you have your brand assets (logo, colors), legal entity details, and the first batch of COAs ready. Faster turnarounds are possible on Pro and Enterprise.
Who owns the code?+
You own a license to run the code on the infrastructure we provide. If you ever leave, we hand over a complete export of your data (products, customers, orders) and you can rebuild on any Medusa host.
What if the legal environment changes?+
Compliance updates ship as part of your monthly fee. When the FDA, FTC, or state attorneys-general update their guidance on research compounds, we update the template — disclaimers, age gate, policy pages — and roll it to every tenant.
Can you accept card payments?+
Card networks block research compounds, so the template ships without a card processor. We focus on direct rails (Zelle, wire, Cash App, crypto) — faster funding, lower fees, no merchant-account freezes. If you have an existing high-risk processor we can integrate it on Enterprise.
What if my vendor goes out of business?+
We hold a full off-site backup of your storefront, COAs, and database in S3. You can request a restoration export at any time. Beyond that, the entire code base is reusable on any Medusa-compatible host.
Why crypto checkout?+
Two reasons: (1) it gives your customers a private, fast payment option, and (2) it diversifies you off bank rails that occasionally throttle peptide-related transfers. We use NOWPayments hosted invoices so you never custody coins directly.
